WELCOME TO HADDON EQUESTRIAN CLUB
Following our committee meeting last night there are a few new rules to draw your attention to.
The first is that, with effect from the next competition (July), the closing dates will be the Saturday before the competition. Late entries would be accepted (numbers permitting) but with a late entry charge of £2 per class. Withdrawals will still be refundable up to and including the Weds prior to the comp.
Please be aware that the 'COB OF THE YEAR' trophy will now only be for Prelim and above and will be the average of the top 3 scores. The committee must agree that each nominated cob is as to type. People should nominate their cobs early in the season as scores can only be used after the cob has been nominated.
We have recently had a number of incidents where members have contacted the Club querying why their points have not been included in the table and it transpires that, on investigation, they have failed to renew their membership. Please note that it is the responsibility of the member to renew their membership and to help with this an email is sent from the membership secretary prior to the renewal date. Please can all members check their emails and renew accordingly as, in fairness to other members who do renew, we will no longer be able to backdate any memberships. This will mean that not only will you not get the points but will also be charged as a non member for entries.
Entries: Please be aware that unless entries come in on an official form we will not be able to accept them. It is essential that we have this for insurance purposes. You can download the entry form here.
Readers: Please be aware that although we will always try to supply a reader for tests if required we can not always guarentee that there will be someone available so it would be in your best interests to ensure you have madue arrangements for someone to read your test for you.
Music: Please be aware that we play music during each class as we have found most of our competitors enjoy this. The music is played at a level so that you can hear your caller and in the interest of fairness we are not able to turn the music off or down on request.
